|Recommended: YesInitial Review — The Soto is a nice apartment overall for the price. It is fairly clean, has good amenities, and very friendly staff. It was easy to get parking and sign the lease as well. However, there are a few things I would say could be improved a lot. The walls are pretty thin and I can hear people from the other floors hallway kitchen when all the doors are closed. The amenities were all functioning but it seems there was not any deep cleaning done as there were food stains on most utilities in the kitchen fridges, cabinets, under sink which we had to clean ourselves. The flooring is generally nice but there are parts where the floorboards come up and are a tripping hazard my roommate got hurt because of this so we had to constantly glue them down ourselves. Other than these things, everything is pretty nice.

|Recommended: YesJust moved in — I love The Soto so much. My apartment exceeded my expectations and the staff is so friendly. My only complaint would be that it is loud in the mornings with yard work traffic outside and upstairs neighbors can be loud at night. Otherwise, I love it here

|Recommended: YesThank you Grace at front desk — Hi, My son moved in a week after the lease started and I visited shortly after only to find the apartment not cleaned and not in an acceptable move-in condition. The walls are a mess with hooks and left over command strips, appliances dirty especially the stove moldy bathroom. I stopped at front desk and Grace was extremely helpful, offering a cleaning service and letting us know how to send pictures of the walls etc. She is friendly and professional. Just wanted to give her a shout out We will be sending another email about the apt. but I wanted to be sure to give a nice review of Grace and thank her for letting me vent and giving us some solutions. |Recommended: YesReview — So far the soto has been lovely to move into. There are of course, some downsides but none that I wouldn't expect at any other apartment building. The kitchen and living room we got were surprisingly spacious which made it much easier to move in. Everything was clean and prepped when we got there and so far the staff have been very nice.
|Recommended: NoMy son likes it but I do not because of the sneaky charges. — I do not appreciate being charged unless I opt out for credit checks and insurance waiver.
I gave one stars because it forced me to rate in order to place a comment. I've not been to the Soto yet - I just pay for it.
|Recommended: NoMoved in with carpet stained in urine — wasn’t fixed quickly, staff was unhelpful, and too much falls through the cracks very no efficient and ran by children basically.
